An unidentified attacker exploited the Gravity Bridge cross-chain protocol, stealing roughly $5.4 million in crypto assets. The stolen funds included 4.3 million USDC, 434,000 USDT, 274 ETH (≈$553,000), and 16,164 PAUG tokens (≈$64,000).

The attacker has laundered part of the proceeds and currently holds 2,102 ETH (≈$4.2 million). The Gravity Bridge team confirmed the incident without providing specifics and called on validators to halt operations until the investigation is complete.
