Iranian news agency Tasnim reports that Tehran has set its sights on a complete blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the world's most important oil transit chokepoint. Additionally, Iran plans to intensify operations in other strategic waterways, such as the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

Separately, Tasnim states that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) will assume full control over Iran's diplomatic channels. This move signals a significant shift in the country's foreign policy apparatus, potentially escalating regional tensions.
