Japan's Economy Minister Kiuchi to Attend BoJ Meeting, Hopes for 2% Inflation Target

Japan's Economy Minister Minoru Kiuchi confirmed he will participate in today's Bank of Japan meeting and expressed hope for stable collaboration to achieve the 2% inflation target.

Japan's Economy Minister Minoru Kiuchi stated on Tuesday that he will take part in the Bank of Japan (BoJ) meeting scheduled for today.

Kiuchi declined to comment on market expectations regarding a potential rate hike, but emphasized his strong hope that the central bank will maintain effective communication and collaboration with the government to sustainably achieve the 2% inflation target.
