Ripple Expands RLUSD Stablecoin to Turkey via Local Exchange Partnerships

Ripple is bringing its USD-backed stablecoin RLUSD to Turkey through partnerships with BiLira, Bitexen, and Bitlo, offering Turkish institutions enterprise-grade dollar liquidity.

RLUSD

Ripple has announced the expansion of its USD-backed stablecoin RLUSD to the Turkish market. The company is partnering with three local platforms — BiLira, Bitexen, and Bitlo — to provide Turkish institutions with access to enterprise-grade dollar liquidity through RLUSD.

RLUSD is a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar and is issued on the XRP Ledger and Ethereum networks. The move marks a strategic push into Turkey, a country with high cryptocurrency adoption and demand for stable dollar-denominated assets.

No further details on the timeline or specific institutional clients were disclosed in the announcement.
