Zelensky: Belarus could be dragged into war by Russia

Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that Belarusian leader Lukashenko should be honest with his people, as Russia could drag the entire country into the war.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko for his stance on the war in Ukraine. According to Zelensky, when Lukashenko claims he does not want Belarus to be dragged into the conflict, he is being dishonest with his own people.

Zelensky emphasized that it is not Lukashenko personally, but the entire country of Belarus that risks being pulled into the war by Russia. The statement underscores growing tensions between Ukraine and Belarus, which has served as a staging ground for Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion.
