Consideration of the U.S. crypto market structure bill (CLARITY Act) is expected to be delayed by several weeks, or possibly pushed back to late February or even March, as the Senate Banking Committee has shifted its focus to Trump’s housing reform agenda, according to Bloomberg.

At the same time, the Senate Agriculture Committee is expected to vote on its own digital assets bill on January 27.

After that, both bills will need to be reconciled and merged before a final vote in the U.S. Senate, adding another layer of uncertainty and extending the legislative timeline for comprehensive crypto regulation in the United States.
